I’m trying to repair a Toyota Camry 2001 rear bumper
Entire panel. I’ve sanded the area smooth and now am applying primer. How do people successfully mask off areas and blend the particular area. Since it’s the rear it’s hard. So what I’m doing is masking where the lines are on each bumper however doing it on the same line both sides so it’s even. Is it worth me removing the masking tape from everywhere but the rear lights and wheels. But basically sand the affected and apply primer to the affected area and onto the non affected area. Doing the same step for the paint and clear coat. Is that how people blend it?
I’m not after rude and inconsiderate answers. I’m after one from someone who has some experience in this area
