What should I do about my parents forcing me to lose weight

0 votes
Right now, I’m in school athletics and we run 2 miles a day and go to the weight room once a week. There are 3 months until the school year ends and dad is mad that I haven’t been losing weight. Now, he’s making me run another 3 miles out of school. I do my best to eat healthy and he thinks that I don’t care. He always says “Do really like how you look? If you can look skinnier and better, then do it!” I really annoys me and I already hate exercising and I’m perfectly happy with how my body looks and he’s just lowering my self esteem and making me feel fat and ugly. I’m 14, weigh 140 and I’m 5’4. I’ve been trying to get him to understand that I already exercise enough at school. He’s constantly comparing me to my other siblings and letting them eat how much they want and restricting me. I exercise more than them, and eat less but I still don’t lose weight. Neither my brother or sister exercise and they never have to do anything and they can do anything they want. My dad always says “They’re not fat. They can eat as much as they want. You can’t compare yourselves to them.”
