You earn $560." 16w + 24d = 560 <--[eq2] Substitute the eq1 in for w in eq2 16w + 24d = 560 16*(2d) + 24d = 560 32d + 24d = 560 56d = 560 d = 10 So a desktop calendar costs $10.00 Going back to eq1, we can see that a wall calendar cost 2d, so w = $20.00
