Is it possible to get ripped without any equipment

Yes it is possible. Getting "ripped" is more about body fat percentage than anything else and that is mostly about diet. But you can indeed gain muscle mass from body weight exercises if you do it right. Body weight exercises are usually enough for your weaker upper body muscles (chin ups and modified push-ups for example) but it is slightly harder to get enough resistance to challenge your legs. One legged squats are a good way to stress your legs without weights because you are lifting twice as much as with two legs (I prefer the Bulgarian split squat to the pistol squat though because it puts less stress on your knees while providing roughly the same workout).
